Katie and Drew are my July wedding couple. We had so much fun doing their engagement shoot in downtown Duluth…the same location they will have their wedding reception! Taking photos outside during this heat wave has been interesting, but luckily, Katie and Drew made the best of it and we even found a way to cool off at the end! As you will be able to see from the pictures, Drew kept both me and Katie laughing the whole time. Katie and Drew- Thanks for a fun (and HOT) session, and can’t wait until the big day!

I love outside weddings and especially one with this fun couple on beautiful Signal Mountain, Tennessee! I truly enjoyed capturing Lynde and Rusty celebrating this day with their friends and family. I’ll let you see for yourself…

I had the opportunity to hang out with Evie and Lila Carter (and their beautiful momma, Elizabeth) last month to take some pictures. What a fun day! We were in Monroe at Elizabeth’s grandparent’s antebellum home with an incredible yard and plenty of places for pictures of these 2 gorgeous sisters. It’s days like this that I am reminded how thankful I am for my job…hanging out with amazing people and goofing off with kids in God’s beautiful creation. I don’t deserve this!

Well, here it is. The long awaited (I hope) part 2 to Mallory and Steven’s engagement shoot. I got back last week from our big family vacation. Being gone for 2 weeks makes you realize that your world keeps going even without you there. So, in my attempt to play catch up, I thought I would finish showing you Mallory and Steven’s pictures. That’s right. This will be the first of 2 posts for Mallory and Steven’s engagement session. After trying to narrow down my favorites, I thought it wouldn’t be fair to keep any of my favorites to myself, so I am going to share a lot! Mallory and Steven are a beautiful couple, inside and out. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. We had so much fun romping around downtown Opelika and a nearby field (and we may have even taken a few pictures in the lot of Walgreens, but you didn’t hear that from me). My sister is in their wedding this August, and I loved having her tag along for our afternoon.
I will be back for part 2 of this session soon. I am actually sitting in a hotel room in Istanbul, Turkey right now, at the beginning of a big family vacation. Maybe I’ll even jump on at some point and share some personal photos of our trip. Enjoy these for now…
