I spent a Saturday last month in LaGrange, GA with Morgan and Aron. It was one of those days where I realized just how amazing it is that I get to be there, up close and personal, to celebrate with my couples. Morgan and Aron are truly a perfect match and it was a joy to capture their wedding day. They had incredible friends and family there to support and encourage them as they start their lives together, and everyone made me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for this amazing couple.

This engagement shoot in Athens, GA was so much fun for me for many reasons. First of all, Rick and Alicia are high school sweethearts…how awesome is that?! It’s not often that you find a couple that has practically grown up together, so it’s exciting to watch them join their lives forever. Also, Rick is my cousin (of course, I’ve always called him Little Ricky, but I guess he’s too old for that now), so it was honor to join them in celebrating their engagement. I’ve literally watched Rick grow up into the mature, godly man that he is today, and I loved getting to spend some more time with his precious (and beautiful) fiance, Alicia. These two were troopers and you would never know, by the way they look, that it was almost 100 degrees outside that day. I had to choke back my pride being on the University of Georgia campus (being an Auburn grad), but it turned out to be a great day!

Katie and Drew are my July wedding couple. We had so much fun doing their engagement shoot in downtown Duluth…the same location they will have their wedding reception! Taking photos outside during this heat wave has been interesting, but luckily, Katie and Drew made the best of it and we even found a way to cool off at the end! As you will be able to see from the pictures, Drew kept both me and Katie laughing the whole time. Katie and Drew- Thanks for a fun (and HOT) session, and can’t wait until the big day!
